Privacy at Casora

This is what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Plain language version below — the longer legal version follows.

Plain language

  • We collect what we need to process your order — name, shipping address, email, phone, and the payment info your card processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe / PayPal) handles for us
  • We use it to ship the order, email you about it, and follow up if something goes wrong
  • We don't sell your personal information to third parties
  • We use cookies and analytics tools (Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel where applicable) to understand how the store is used — these can be turned off in your browser or with our cookie banner
  • You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time — email hello@casora.shop

What we collect

  • Order info: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, items ordered, order total
  • Payment info: card processor handles this — we never see your full card number. We see the last 4 digits for support purposes
  • Account info (if you create an account): email, password (hashed), order history, saved addresses
  • Communications: emails and chats you send us, our replies
  • Site usage: pages visited, what you clicked, how you got to us — via cookies and analytics scripts

Why we collect it

  • To fulfill and ship your order
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and resolve issues
  • To detect and prevent fraud
  • To improve the store (analytics)
  • To send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email

Who we share it with

  • Shopify: our store platform — they process orders and store data securely on our behalf
  • Shipping carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL — to deliver your order
  • Payment processors: Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal — to handle payment
  • Email and SMS providers: to send order confirmations and marketing (if opted in)
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel — anonymized site usage data
  • Customer service tools: only when needed to help resolve your issue

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for purposes outside the ones above.

Your rights

  • Access: ask what data we have on you
  • Correction: ask us to fix wrong data
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your data (subject to legal record-keeping requirements like tax records)
  • Portability: request a copy of your data
  • Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe link in every marketing email, or email hello@casora.shop

California, EU, UK, and other regional residents have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, and equivalent laws. Email hello@casora.shop to exercise any of them.

How long we keep it

Order data: 7 years (tax record-keeping requirement). Account data: until you ask us to delete it. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.

Children

Casora is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email hello@casora.shop and we'll delete it.

Updates

If we change this policy in any material way, we'll email order customers who opted in and post a notice at the top of this page for 30 days. The last-updated date is at the bottom.
